THE ROYAL NAVY CLEARANCE DIVERS MEMORIAL GARDEN

The Garden is a quiet place of reflection and remembrance for those that have served, those that still serve and for the families and friends of Clearance Divers who have crossed the bar before us.

Ideally situated beside the lake at the Defence Diving School in Portsmouth, where so many Royal Navy Divers have trained, it is a fitting and permanent memorial, not only to the Divers who have passed but also to the traditions and deeds of the branch.

Attached to the walls of the garden are memorial plaques for Royal Navy Clearance Divers who have crossed the bar.
If you are a relative or friend of a Royal Navy Clearance Diver who has passed away and you cannot find a plaque (below) we would appreciate an email so we can add one.
Please email committee@rncda.com with any details.

The Memorial Garden is located within a working military establishment and whilst general access is not possible, an annual service of remembrance is held when limited access can be arranged.
Please email committee@rncda.com to be considered.
